Friday May 16 -Sarah Ethington

When I entered the school the seniors were already out. The sophomores were also on a field trip, so the school wasn't as loud or crowed as it normally is.  However the school year is almost over so things aren't completely quite. Final projects of the year are being finished and handed in,like in Science. We're creating two day weather forecasts and they're all being wrapped up.
When I entered English I grabbed our yellow box and passed out folders because we all knew in a matter of minutes DGP would start. We did Friday's box which was sentence structure.  After we finished that Mrs.  Morrow went over things people could still do for a grade. Things like daily blogger, and past DGP's that have been lost in mounds of other various papers. She then told us we could spend the rest of class working on our adventure books.  It's been a good day for catching up on work and raising grades.

May 12th - Ehric Strope

The following is the final daily blogger written by Ehric Strope in the 2013-2014 school year:

Yeah! Here we go! My last daily blogger! So, here’s what happened in the wonderland of 2nd period English class: we worked on interactive readers. Now, when I think about interactive readers, I think about those boring blue-green paperback books with nothing meaningful or worthwhile in them and that are solely intended to thoroughly bore students out of their ever-diminishing minds. However, these were not them. Close, but not quite. Distant cousins, I think. These were stories where the reader could actively participate in the story by answering mulitple choice questions strategically arranged throughout the book. They were fun, I guess.

           For dinner we had noodles.

                                                                                                            Over and Out,

                                                                                                            Ehric Strope

May 14th Trevor D.

Rolling into the semi-circle where I usually get dropped off at something was different. To my left there were football pads and to my left was a moving trailer. There was a sign taped to it saying "Thank you Mr. Brosz for all the years! Thought you would need some help moving out." I then realized it was the senior's last day.

I laughed to myself as I walked down our 100 hallway to my once closed now open locker. I drop off my stuff and head to first period smiling and the differences in the hallways. As we began they announced over the intercom "Please do not start your ceiling fans. I remind you again not to start your ceiling fans. Thank you." I see in some rooms there was glitter littering their floors.

That was all that was exciting until I got to 4th period English. We were working on our create your own path book. It is a book where you chose an option and it led to something good or something bad. In my group it is me and Garrett Lake and we chose the pathway of a college athlete and how they would handle decisions made in college and how they would lead to the NFL draft.

Today is Tuesday the last full week of school. Today in English Class we did DGP like we always due. This time we did Tuesday and Wednesday. We also worked on are other book that she was talking about Monday. Tomorrow we are supposed to work on are rough draft.
In fifth period I went to watch the senior video. It was a lot shorter then last years. It is said to know how fast time flies by. It seems like yesterday the school year just started and it's almost over.
