International Dot Day!

Sunday, September 15, 2013 is known as "International Dot Day."  In honor of that, we celebrated in class on Friday by listening to Peter Reynolds's book, The Dot, and discussing its theme and message.

Everyone in 8th grade English had the opportunity to unleash their inner creativity and design a personal dot.  (And then, of course, each of us signed it!)



Finally we used the CoLAR Mix app on the iPad to bring our dot to life with augmented reality.



We are even more excited than ever before to "make our mark" and see where it takes us!
