October 8th Blog by Ehric Strope

Today in second period English, we revised the thesis statements of our problem/solution essays rather than writing in our writer’s notebook. Afterward, Mrs. Troester taught us about compound sentence structure. The PowerPoint below was used in her lesson. Later we were assigned pages 9 and 10 in a pink packet and given time to work on them. If we finished before the end of the period, we were told to work on pages 15 and 16 of the packet. Just a reminder that school will not be in session tomorrow due to parent-teacher conferences. Good luck students, and remember- KEEP YOUR STORY STRAIGHT. On a side note, Mr. Hostert confirmed that the narwhal is indeed endangered with only an estimated 50,000 remaining. - Ehric Strope
