April 2nd Daily Blogger

I walked out of my house and the 21 degree weather hit me hard. Only in Nebraska can you go from shorts and a t-shirt to sweatpants and a big sweatshirt. I then hopped in my heated car and came to school. The bell so rang telling me that it was time to start another day. We had a difficult worksheet in first period Civics. Then we tiredly walked to English class across the building. When we arrived we attempted to enter the class room and avoid the big clutter that we encounter coming in and out of this room because so many kids are in here everyday. Then we got started.

"Four most important things to you" that was our journal topic was for today. When we read some in class I wasn't surprised to hear that many of the boys said girls as one of their most important things. Then we began DGP (Daily Grammar Practice), today we identified the independent clauses of the sentence and what type of sentence it was. Next we went to a website that we have been using for the past few days to practice for the NESA tests. We went to Word choice and did activities 1,3,9,11, and 13 to practice words that sound the same but have different meanings. We spent most of the period completing this on chompchomp.com. Don't forget to finish the quiz given to us at the end of the period.

Overall this was a good day with little homework. It was also a quite day with little going on. Don't forget to finish your quiz and exercises. This is my last time ever being daily blogger hope you have a great rest of the year. Good luck and go Eagles!
