2/18/14 Ehric Strope

Great, daily blogger. The highlight of my week and the holy grail of all writing assignments. HA! Gotchya goin’ didn’t I? But, no, I’m just kidding. Although I am daily blogger again. So, here we go!
Yet another amazing and exciting day in English. Brought to us today via the internet and Skype was a video call with the editor of the Norfolk Daily News Paper, Kent Warneke. Despite an abundance of technical issue, including but not limited to persistently dropped calls, profuse lag time, and only one-way video, the call featured Mr. Warneke and his insightful enlightenment into effective writing. His knowledgeable advice included utilizing readily comprehendible terminology and linguistical formations. For example, instead of confusing your audience with that mess, simply say ‘Even though there were some problems, Mr. Warneke told us that in order to write effectively, we should write like we talk, but maybe a little more formal at times.’
And to consummate this reflection, an interjection regarding the remaining portion of our school day: the lunch menu. Being served today are 1) supper nachos 2) Bar-B-Que Rib Sandwich or 3) taco salad. Yum!
And….Voila! There you have it, an exciting and purposeful recount of 2nd period English class comprised in its entirety by yours truly, the one and only, the dashingly handsome, and flatteringly flattering, Mr. Strope.

Mr. Kent Warneke
-What a looker!-

Metaphorically speaking, the majority of our video call.
