I walked into my science room with
it having that odd smell as usual. Most of my classmates had those tired
looking faces, hair, and attitudes. Right away we started science with a video
about volcanoes. Next came note taking time which means more than likely we
will be having a quiz tomorrow. Then it seemed, before we could blink, the bell
rang. Down the hall I
went to my next class, English.
The three main things we attempted
to cover today in English was our letters, CBL, and persuasive speeches. Before
we could get to them; we had to start off with the wonderful DGP. After DGP, we went straight to our
letters. Many of the kids didn’t get their parents signature saying that they
proofread it. Mrs. Morrow was nice enough to let everyone take our papers home
again to have another chance to get that signature.
Mrs. Morrow then showed us the
proper layout for our letters. If you need an example for how the layout of
your letter should look you can go to pages file new and classic letter. You
need to make sure you put your address on your letter because to get your
letter published you have to have an address. To find your newspapers address
you can just Google it. Then everyone printed off what they had gotten done, if
you are finished and have your signature hand it in. Lastly we got with our CBL
groups real fast and filled out a calendar of dates to have things finished. It
was a busy and fast class, so we didn’t get all what we wanted to cover.
Well today started off fast then
got slower as the day went on. The teachers sure kept us busy with work though.
The evening is going to be busy to for some people. Our high school boys play at Norfolk against Madison, so if
you can, try to go down and support them. Go get them Eagles!
