It is finally Friday! This Friday
is special because we had 10 wrestlers make it to state! Four of them are in
the quarterfinal and six are in wrestle backs. Good luck to all wrestlers and
remember that even though we are still back home we are still cheering loud as
we watch from our smart boards.
We started off English by doing the
everyday DGP. Today we diagramed the sentence and added the words. Then we went
over the long list of options we could do. My CBL group chose to work on our
project. We started by checking our google doc and then we decided when we
needed to do our tasks. We talked to the teachers about our project and they
gave us feedback. Then when there wasn’t much left to do as of today, my friend
and I proofread each others letters to the editor. We wrote them about our CBL
topics, ours is adoption. We could also hear multiple side conversations about
who was going to wrestle today and how they would do.
Next was reading, right away we got
out the books that we are reading in class, The
Book Thief. We tried to get started fast so we could get a little read
before the wrestlers started. The rest of the day consisted of
watching the wrestlers followed by talking about their matches, with a little
homework mixed in. Congratulations and good luck to all of the wrestlers! Also good luck to our boys basketball team!
