January 28

You could hear pages being flipped, pencils tapping and students coughing this morning, letting you know it's another work day. Many students were absent yesterday, and today was no different. After catch up time in Reading, I stayed in Mrs. Troester's class along with a number of other students. We then listened to Mrs. Troester and followed her instructions. We all logged into DRC Insight, heard/read the directions, and began our test. Everyone was nervous for the prompt. No one knew what we would have to write our essay on. It actually ended up writing about something that was important to us. Our class wrote practice essays a week ago on a subject like that. It made writing easier for some kids who used the same topic. After second, third, and forth period students submitted their work. When they finished they read or did other homework. Kids that didn't take their tests today will do it later. It has been a pretty calm day in the world of homework.
