Marissa 1-23-14

I hurried out the door at 7:53 enough time to arrive in my classroom a few seconds before 8:00. As I got to science I knew it wasn’t going to be any special day, just a regular science class. We talked about all of this science stuff, which I am totally not interested in learning about, but I guess I have no choice. Mr. Morrow just talked during the whole period and we watched a little bit of a video. Time arrived fast to go to second period, English.

When we got to English class the teachers meant business. We instantly got our computers out and opened and went to the application DRCInsight. Mrs. Troester and Mrs. Morrow explained to us to how to take the test, what to write on our paper, our resources, and many more things including the test. We all got logged in and starting taking the practice test, which we aren’t getting graded on. Well of course nothing can never ever be perfect while using our computers, something always has to go wrong. About seven students computers wouldn’t let them type, so while Mr. Buller tried to fix the issue they just wrote on paper. Mr. Bueller is a hero with computers he can figure out everything. His answer to the problem was all of us needed to turn off our passwords when we get on our computer because it locks that screen. After that was finished everyone continued with our practice test. Before we all knew it the bell rang, so we had to end our practice test and just submit what we had.

Usually we have a lot of little things to cover in English class, but today was just one big important thing to cover. The bad part of the class was we had a problem with the computer, which is no big surprise. The good part is we figured out the issue and so hopefully (keep your fingers crossed) everything with the real test will go fine on Tuesday. Now only tomorrow and it is finally the weekend!
Remember to use the five senses in your writing to have good description!

Be ready for the real writing test on Tuesday!
